Mr Meijers was born in 1947 and has Dutch nationality. Mr. Meijers is founder and former chairman of the executive board of Meijers Assurantiën BV. At present, Mr. Meijers is a member of the supervisory board of Meijers Assurantiën BV, former chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Brokers, former chairman and current deputy secretary-general of the executive committee of BIPAR, member of the supervisory board of Farm Dairy, member of the board of governors and chairman of insurance industry of the Jewish Agency. In addition, he is intensively involved in a multitude of non-profit organizations.
